"Peter And The Starcatcher" Needs Boys and Girls
Talents ages 12 and up are invited to audition for the "Peter And The Starcatcher" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a discouraged, neglected orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love. Additional info: THERE WILL BE A GENERAL INFORMATION MEETING ON MONDAY, JUNE 2, AT 6PM. This meeting is optional, but it gives you the chance to pick up audition paperwork early to fill out at home and acquire information about the roles, rehearsal schedule, and the specifics of the audition process. You do not need to bring anything with you other than a positive attitude and a willingness to show your talent by participating in acting and voice exercises. Directors are primarily looking to cast ages 12-18. Please see the attachment for details. If interested, please apply.
10 roles
A young girl and Starcatcher apprentice who is taken aboard the Neverland as precious cargo. Curious and intelligent, she is only beginning to understand the confusing romantic longings that come with her age. She will risk anything for the sake of what is right.
A lonely and hardened orphan who doesn't miss much. Nameless, homeless, and friendless at the beginning of the play and a hero by the end. He wants a home and a family more than anything, and dreams of a life of being free.
An orphan, ambitious, hyper articulate, and logical. He yearns to be leader, even when he knows in his heart that he'll never be one. A bit of a blowhard with a touch of cowardice.
