Singing Audition for "Carrie: The Musical"

Seeking talents ages 16 and up for "Carrie: The Musical". Please see the details below. About the project: Based on Stephen King’s classic novel, Carrie: The Musical tells the haunting story of Carrie White, a high school outsider with a dark secret—she has telekinetic powers. Tormented by her classmates and oppressed by her religiously fanatic mother, Carrie’s story crescendos to an unforgettable and explosive climax at prom. With a rich score that blends rock and musical theatre styles, Carrie explores themes of bullying, trauma, self-acceptance, and the power of standing up for yourself. Additional info: Please prepare a 32-bar cut from a musical in the style of the show (rock/pop/modern MT). Both a Pianist and a speaker will be available. A cappella and Full-length songs will not be accepted. Kindly be mindful and stay within the requested length. There will be a short dance audition using a song from Carrie: The Musical. You may be asked to do a cold read from the script. Don’t worry if directors don’t have you read-it won’t affect your consideration!
