Casting Call for Teens for "Pippin" Show
7th-12th graders (as of the 2025-26 school year) are welcome to audition for "Pippin". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh, and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day. Additional info: Please bring a stapled headshot and resume, and a list of all your conflicts from June 22-September 7! For Vocal Auditions: 32 bars of musical theater song in the style of Pippin For Dance Call: Please come in comfortable dance attire/fitted clothes. Jazz, ballet, or pirouette shoes are acceptable. SCHEDULE: Rehearsals: Sunday afternoons, Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings. Tech Week (mandatory): August 30-September 4. Performances (mandatory): September 5-7. Note that the fee will be applied.
