"Hazel and the Empty Easel" Show
Seeking perfomers ages 13-18 years old for "Hazel and the Empty Easel" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Being creative isn't always easy, and no one knows this better than Hazel. Tasked with finishing a painting for her art class at school, Hazel looks to her friends Gavin and Betty to see if what they've painted will help her unlock her creative block. Little could she expect, her friends completed paintings have the power to transport her to worlds of wonder and whimsy, and the friends she meets along the way will be just the source of inspiration she needs. Written by Albright College rising senior Ryan Elmore, Hazel and the Empty Easel will teach audiences of all ages that creativity is within all of us, and sometimes it's through our friends - old and new -that we can share our artistic vision with the world! Additional info: Actors should prepare a 60-90 comedic monologue, and be prepared to read a side or two from this year's original play.
