About the project: This September, Firebird Theatre is proud to be able to present our next Shakespeare in the Park production: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Shakespeare’s Athenian pastoral comedy about fairies, donkeys, and rude mechanicals is considered one of the Bard’s greatest works. This production is directed by Tristan Buss and will include the use of mask-work inspired by the techniques of Ancient Greek theatre and Jacques Lecoq. Filled to the brim with wonderful wit, love triangles, physical comedy, and surprisingly dark turns, Midsummer has just about anything one could want in a night at the theatre! Additional info: Performances are September 6-7, 13-14, 2025 Scenes to read will be provided. Please bring conflicts through September 14th, 2025. Be prepared to stay around 30 mins.
