Dance Opportunities for Kids in "The Nutcracker" Ballet

Dancers ages 6 and up for "The Nutcracker" Ballet. Please see the details below. About the project: Step into the enchanting world of the Stahlbaum family as they prepare for a night of festive revelry on Christmas Eve. The brilliant and mysterious godfather, Herr Drosselmeyer, adds a touch of magic with his mesmerizing puppet show and life-size dancing dolls, culminating in the gift of a spectacular Nutcracker doll to Clara. Additional info: Which audition should you attend? Beginner: age range of 6-10, at least 1-3 years of dance training. If you are an AIM student, you are in level Beginner, Fundamental, 1, or 2 classes in spring 2025. Intermediate: age range of 9+, at least 4+ years of dance training in either ballet, jazz, lyrical, or musical theater. If you are an AIM student, you are in level 2 or 3 classes in spring 2025. Intermediate/Advanced: age range 9+, at least 5+ years of multi-genre dance training, AND at least 3 years of ballet training. If you are an AIM student, you are in level 3 or 4 classes for spring 2025. Advanced/Pointe: age 11+, typically has 6+ years of multi-genre dance training AND at least 4 years of ballet training. For dancers on pointe, at least 1 full year of training on pointe. You do not have to be enrolled in pointe classes to attend this audition.
