About the project: SIX: TEEN EDITION is a full-length adaptation of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ international phenomenon SIX, modified for performance by teen actors for family audiences. Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st-century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over. Additional info: Performance on July 19th, 11 AM to 3 PM VOCALS Be prepared to sing 16 to 32 bars (30 to 60 seconds) of a song in a similar genre. Bring sheet music for the piano accompanist or a device to play an instrumental track. A capella is not recommended. DANCE Wear athletic shoes or jazz shoes to learn a short dance sequence. No Crocs or sandals allowed. You will be asked to read from the script. If there is a particular role you would like to read for, please indicate this on the audition form. CONFLICTS Be prepared to list any conflicts from June 29 to July 19. Tech week (July 14 to 18) and the show date (July 19) are mandatory. Callbacks will be scheduled as needed.
