Rising 9th Grade through 2025 Graduating Seniors are welcome to audition for the "Sister Act" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, she’s hidden in the last place anyone would think to a convent! Disguised as a nun, she turns the quiet choir into a heavenly sensation, bringing music, soul, and a whole lot of sparkle to the sisters’ lives. Sister Act: The Musical is a feel-good, family-friendly show filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous comedy, and heart. Don’t miss this divine celebration of friendship, faith, and finding your voice! Additional info: What to Prepare For Your Audition: Dance: Dress comfortably and be ready to move and learn the choreography to one of the numbers in the show. When forced to hide in the convent, she initially refuses to embrace her new lifestyle but learns to embrace it when she works with the choir. Loud-mouthed, and sassy, but ultimately caring. The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high school classmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves when under pressure, causing him to sweat profusely.
