"Peter and the Starcatcher" Play Seeks Teenagers
The company is holding auditions for the Production of "Peter and the Starcatcher". Looking for performers in n Grade 9 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). A wildly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels, the play was conceived for the stage by directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, and written by Rick Elice, with music by Wayne Barker. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair… and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love. Additional info: Rehearsals are scheduled on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30 pm. Not all cast members will be required to be at all rehearsals. A rehearsal schedule will be made once the show is cast. Extra nights may be added as the show nears production week. Cast members are not allowed any absences the week prior to the show. The production will take place July 17-20, 2025. Please note: there is a fee. Please apply if interested.
