Casting Call for Teens for "Hairspray" Musical
Seeking ages 10 and up for "Hairspray" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: For musicals, you will be auditioned with music from the show. Do not prepare anything else unless it is stated to do so. Wear comfortable clothes. Directors encourage you to look your best, but also come prepared for some dance or movement exercises for bigger dance musical auditions (not all shows have dance portions). Call Backs will be scheduled for later in the afternoon or the next day. Rehearsals are typically Sunday–Thursday, 6:30 – 9:30 pm, beginning the week after auditions. Link’s girlfriend and Tracy’s nemesis. She is pretty, thin, shallow, snobby, and racist. Can’t dance but is expected to win Miss Baltimore Hairspray. Always feels the need to be the center of attention.
