Cal Poly Short Cuts Casting Call

We are casting for three short films (Not Yet Forgotten, Picks, and Suspended) to be shown at the Palm Theater here in SLO. LOGLINES FOR FILMS: Not Yet Forgotten: After Thomas' father dies from rapidly progressive dementia, he is haunted by grief and the horrors of cognitive decline of a family member, causing him to lose his sense of reality. Picks: A moody musician grows increasingly furious as his guitar picks constantly vanish until he discovers his mute younger brother has been taking them, longing for a connection he doesn’t know how to ask for. Suspended: In a quiet Israeli park, an unexpected friendship blossoms between a hammocking American teen and a curious boy—until the sound of a distant siren shifts their world, revealing the quiet strength found in presence, trust, and shared stillness.
