Looking for KIDS to be Principal Actors in a Horror Feature Film titled 'Arnie'! Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: This project will be taking place this summer in the Cleveland, OH area. DETAILS: Project: Horror Feature Film 'Arnie' Filming Location: Cleveland, OH area (MUST BE LOCAL) Shoot Date(s): July 7th, 2025 - August 8th, 2025 (TENTATIVE) Rate: SAG-AFTRA Scale **CALLBACKS WILL BE @ A TBD DATE!!** Note from the Director: "This is a horror movie with horror situations, violence, blood, some bad language, etc., but it's ultimately a positive story about conquering one's fears. Think of the movie 'IT'. Actors should be comfortable being in that type of movie. The children I've worked with in the past on horror movies have had a lot of fun. I'll be present for the callbacks and can answer any questions you may have!" When applying, please include in the audition TWO TAKES of your child reading the sides (attached at the link below). A sensitive girl who loves all living things. A bit fearful and does not like drawing attention to herself, and likes to fit in by helping others. Freddy’s empathy prohibits her from turning her back on the suffering of others, even though she’s terrified to intervene
A theater kid with over-the-top, hammy energy, who does everything with a tad extra theatricality. She is a great singer and dancer and loves to show off those skills SPECIAL AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS (See Sides).
An introverted, awkward boy who loves his sci-fi paperback. Josh is a bit out of place on this show of singing and dancing extroverts.
He’s a handsome, athletic boy who seems like a natural leader. Things come to him effortlessly and he’s very likable. Brave, funny, reckless, sometimes a bit of a troublemaker.
He’s a short-for-his-age boy who seems a little too wide-eyed and naive. He is particularly in love with Arnie and in thrall of his words. A true believer.
