Young Actor Needed for Paid Film "Charles and Danny"
Looking for a young actor to be part of an upcoming short film! Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: $150, 1 Meal, Credit, Copy of the film will be given after the festival run and release About the project: Synopsis: A washed-up, ex-basketball star must coach a disabled kid onto his local basketball team, or risk losing everything he loves. Additional info: The actor will be needed for ONE WORK DAY (10 hours). Location: Metro Detroit (Detroit and Rockwood) Date(s): June 21st, June 22nd (Actors will not be needed for both days). Main Character. Wheelchair-bound. Smart and Intelligent, and earnest. The kind of kid who wins robotics and debate competitions. All around a good kid. Though he struggles with basketball, his heart is in the game. He has passion and determination. His disability is the result of being hit by a drunk driver. Charles is his basketball idol, he looks up to him, like the big brother he never had.
