Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Once Upon a Mattress" Show

Seeking talents ages 10 and up for "Once Upon a Mattress" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In the beloved story of the Princess and the Pea made famous by Carol Burnett, the Princess “Fred” proves that not all kingdoms are alike. Through a kaleidoscope of physical comedy, unexpected characters, wild royalty, and one very tall bed, this story proves that love works in mysterious ways - and we are ALL worthy of it! Additional info: Choreography: The choreographer will begin with a fun warm-up, teach a small sequence from the show, and Auditioners will perform in small groups. Individual (by Numerical Order): Monologue/Cold Read: The auditioner will present a brief prepared monologue or receive script pages for a cold read. Song: Auditioners will sing one song (if coming with their own selection, please provide sheet music for the accompanist). If the Auditioner does not have a prepared song, be ready to sing someone "Happy Birthday"!
