About the project: The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. Additional info: Callbacks: Wednesday, April 30th from 7 PM-10 PM Performance Dates: July 25th at 8 PM July 26th at 8 PM July 27th at 3 PM August 1st at 8 PM August 2nd at 3 PM and 8 PM August 3rd at 3 PM General: Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. Please bring a complete list of conflicts between May 1st and August 3rd. Vocal: Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theater song. Please bring sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist, who will be provided. No recorded tracks or a cappella auditions are allowed.
