Children Theatre Casting Call for "Honk Jr." Show

Current 1st grade students thru current high school freshmen are welcome to audiiton for "Honk Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: 1. A monologue attached. 1st-3rd grader perform the final monologue on the list. 4th grade and above, please choose one of the other monologues. 2. A 32 bar (or 90 seconds) musical theatre song. Sheet music or mp3/youtube video is accepted. Please choose a song that shows off lots of personality and stage presence. SHOW DATES: June 27-29 If interested, please apply.
