Singing Opportunities for Teens in "Into The Woods" Play

About the play: "Into the Woods" is a spellbinding musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine that weaves together beloved fairy tales like Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story about a baker and his wife on a quest to break a witch’s curse. What begins as a whimsical journey for each character to fulfill their wish soon unravels into a poignant tale about consequences, loss, and the true meaning of happily ever after. With its rich score, clever lyrics, and emotional depth, Into the Woods is both enchanting and thought-provoking, reminding us that wishes come true—but not always for free. Additional information: CALLBACKS: Monday May 12th, 6:30pm-8pm. WHERE: Peterborough, ON. SHOW DATES: November 7th-15th 2025 in Peterborough. REHEARSALS: May and June - Monday and Wednesday 6:30-9:30pm. Mid-August - November - Monday and Wednesday 6:30pm-9:30pm and Sundays 12pm-4pm. Week of November 2nd - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note - this is a heavy rehearsal schedule for all characters. You will be required to be at most rehearsals. There will be an attendance policy in place stating no more than 4 missed rehearsals is permitted. 100% attendance is required starting October 19th - meaning no one is allowed to miss any rehearsals as of that date.
