25/26 Season Seeks Local Youth Actors
Seeking local youth actors to audition for roles in three productions—“A Christmas Story,” “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” and “Disney’s Frozen The Broadway Musical”—in the company’s upcoming 25/26 season. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Auditioners should note that the production schedule includes morning student matinees in addition to regularly scheduled matinee and evening performances. Cast members must be available for rehearsals and the entirety of the production run at Syracuse Stage. Rehearsals are not held on Mondays. Young actors will not be required to be at all rehearsals. Rehearsals for youth actors will generally be held weekdays after 4 p.m. and during the day on weekends. These are non-Actors Equity Association roles. "A Christmas Story" (in the 5th grade). The central character of the story. Bright, mischievous, outgoing and curious boy. He has a vivid imagination that comes to life in various scenes throughout the play. He is the star of his own story. All he wants is a Red Ryder Carbine Action BB Gun for Christmas.
