Child Auditions for "SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition"

Kids between the ages of 5 and 18 are invited to audition for "SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition". Please see the details below. About the project: Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! Additional info: NOTE: Auditions for ages 5-11 will be Monday, May 12th, and for ages 12-18 on Wednesday, May 14th. Auditionees will go in groups of 5-10 and sing their selected songs. When everyone has sung, we will move on to the choreography, followed by readings from the script. Please prepare a brief excerpt (32 bars, or about 1:30 maximum) of a song in the style of the show, or one from the show is acceptable. Please come prepared with a track to play, or you may sing a capella (without music). An accompanist will NOT be provided. Please wear movement-appropriate clothing and athletic or dance shoes. (No skirts/dresses, jeans, sandals/Crocs, or open-toe shoes.) If interested, please apply.
