Dance Opportunities for Kids in "Shrek Jr." Musical
Kids entering 6th grade this summer through age 15 are invited to audition for "Shrek Jr." Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: “Shrek The Musical Jr.”is a fun-filled stage adaptation of the popular animated film. It follows an ogre named Shrek’s quest to rescue Princess Fiona, accompanied by his talkative friend Donkey. Along the way, they encounter fairy tale creatures and learn valuable lessons about friendship and acceptance. With catchy songs and humorous moments, it’s a delightful show for all ages. Additional info: Get ready to sing, dance, show off your acting skills, and have a Shrek-tacular summer! Those auditioning will be expected to prepare a few measures of a song of their choosing. They will also be given a short monologue to read from. The choreographer will then take a group at a time for the dance audition. Those who receive a callback sheet during their audition will know to either stay or come back at the callback time. If interested, please apply.
