About the project: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat follows the story of Joseph, the favorite son of Jacob. Gifted with a beautiful multicolored coat, Joseph’s vivid dreams and his father’s favoritism provoke his brothers' jealousy. They sell him into slavery, but Joseph’s unique ability to interpret dreams propels him from prison to Pharaoh’s court. Ultimately, he is reunited with his family in a powerful act of forgiveness. With its wide-ranging musical styles—pop, rock, calypso, and country—this musical is a joyful celebration of hope, resilience, and redemption. Additional info: Callbacks (by invitation only): Saturday, May 3 What to Prepare: Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song that best showcases your vocal range and style. Bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided, but they will not transpose on site. A cappella auditions will not be accepted. Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time.
