This electrifying production brings the fun, the flair, and the unforgettable energy of the ’50s to life. Join the Pink Ladies with their playful, bold, and sexy style, and the goofy, brash Burger Palace Boys as they tear up the stage with their antics. At the heart of it all is the timeless romance between sweet Sandy and rebellious Danny, whose summer love faces the ultimate high school test. With its catchy songs, iconic dance numbers, and vibrant characters, Grease is a show you don’t want to miss. Rate: There is a stipend of $600.00 Additional info: INVITED CALLBACKS APRIL 16TH PERFORMANCES JUNE 12TH – JULY 20TH OPEN VOCAL CALL Doors will open at 6:30pm. Auditions begin at 7pm. First come first seen. You must have a headshot or current photo with a resume. Accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to sing 16-32 measures. Please bring sheet music in the proper key, cut to 16-32 measures and in a 3-ring binder. Please no songs from the show. *IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A HEADSHOT, RESUME & SHEET MUSIC YOU WILL NOT BE SEEN* OPEN DANCE CALL Doors Will open at 6:30pm. Auditions begin at 7pm. Be prepared to dance. Wear form fitting clothing that shows your body. Please be prepared with jazz shoes and character heels. INVITED CALLBACKS Wednesday, April 16th By invitation only. Doors will open at 7pm. Callbacks begin at 7:30pm. Rehearsals will begin in early May and will be held Mondays – Thursdays 6pm to 11pm, Saturdays 10am – 6pm and some Sundays 12pm – 6pm. The performances will run from June 12-July 20. Thursdays – Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. There are no shows on June 26 or July 4. There are 2pm and 8pm shows on June 26 and July 5. (Soprano) New girl in town; sweet, wholesome, naive, cute, and innocent.
(Tenor) The leader of the Burger Palace Boys; good-looking, strong and confident, with an air of easy-going charm.
(Alto) Leader of the Pink Ladies; tough, sarcastic and outspoken but vulnerable.
(Alto) A dreamer; good-natured but not too smart, she is heavily made up, fussy about her appearance, particularly her hair. She can't wait to finish high school so she can be a beautician. A member of the Pink Ladies.
(Alto) The beauty of the Pink Ladies. She is the seasoned member of the group and tries to act sophisticated.
(Alto) Funny, loud, compulsive eater and awkward member of the Pink Ladies. Loud and pushy with the girls, but shy with boys.
(Tenor) The youngest of the guys; small and sweet with a disarming smile and a heroworshipping attitude towards the other guys. A member of the Burger Palace Boys. He also plays the guitar.
(Tenor) The second in command of the Burger Palace Boys; tough-looking, tattooed, surly and avoids any show of softness. He has an offbeat sense of humor.
(Baritone) A member of the Burger Palace Boys; funny Italian American, he is a braggart and wheeler-dealer who thinks he's a real lady-killer.
(Baritone) The anything-for-a-laugh stocky type of boy; a clown who enjoys winding people up, he is full of mischief and is always dreaming up half-baked schemes and ideas. A member of the Burger Palace Boys.
A smooth talking disc jockey. He is slick and egotistical.
(Alto) The best dancer at St. Bernadette's; a loudmouth, she wins the school dancing competition with Danny.
(Tenor) The class valedictorian; physically awkward, with weak eyes and a high-pitched voice. He's a typical 'apple-polisher' - both smug and pompous, but gullible.
(Tenor) All-American, rock-star “Greaser” student at Rydell High.
(Alto) A typical cheerleader; attractive, athletic, sure-of-herself, but can be given to bursts of disconcerting enthusiasm. She's a bit of a pain and unpopular with the Pink Ladies.
(Tenor) Frenchy's suave and slick guardian angel, who encourages her to stay in school.
