Children Theatre Casting Call for "The Tempest"

Seeking performers between the ages 7 and 17 for "The Tempest" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: “The Tempest” is a wonderful way to revisit Shakespeare’s beloved classic. The production promises to be a great adventure, encompassing enchanted beings of the island, shipwrecked courtiers, clowns, lords and ladies at their wits' end, and young lovers- all wrapped up in Shakespeare’s historical hysterical inventions. This version of “The Tempest” is actually a pastiche, a combo of “Tempest” and “Midsummer Night’s Dream” in which Caliban falls in love with Helena. Additional info: The five-week program will run from June 16 to July 20, with rehearsals in the morning, culminating in performances at Wildflower Playhouse.
