Dance Opportunities for Kids in "Newsies Jr." Musical

Casting ages 8 and up for "Newsies Jr." Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: When powerful newspaper publishers raised prices at the newsboys' expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallied newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what's right. Additional info: Each performer will be assigned a named role and a costume and given an opportunity to shine onstage. Under the direction of a team of experienced professional directors, choreographers, and vocalists, student actors will learn lines, vocal parts, and professionally choreographed dances to become an integral part of the summer production.
