Looking for singers/actors, singers/dancers, and non-singing dancers for "Hairspray" The Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: All roles are paid Additional info: Performances JUNE 13 – 27 & July 16 – August 3 2025. The preferred method of submission is a YouTube or Vimeo link. Callbacks and dance call will be conducted in person in mid/late April TBD. Zoom callbacks will be held for out-of-town submitters. Instructions: -Begin the video by stating your name, height, where you are located, vocal type, and dance experience, if any. -Singers: Sing at least one song from musical theatre. 20-30 seconds is long enough or a verse and chorus is sufficient. You do not have to do full songs. If you wish to be considered for certain roles, sing songs from that character if possible. If you do not have a role preference, please also let us know this. -Include any footage you might have that shows your singing and dance experience from past performances. A YouTube link is fine if you have that, but make sure we know which one you are. -Keep submission under 3 minutes (excluding reel or clips of prior performances) – Also attach a current headshot and/or resume if you have them. If not, include a current picture, and a summary of prior performing experience if you have any. -In the submission email, notate any conflicts you might have between May 8 – June 7 (rehearsals) and June 8 – 27 (tech week & performances). This includes listing general work or school schedules, and also times you will not be in Savannah to rehearse! -Detailed list of performance days/times will be available mid April, but performances look to include June 13, 14, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, plus 3-4 more on Wednesdays or Thursdays between the 18th and 26th of June. In July we will bring the show back and do performances between July 16 – August 3. If interested, please apply.
