Singing Opportunities for Teens in "Freaky Friday" Musical

About the project: When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another's struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter. Additional info: Auditioners should come prepared with up to 32 bars of a song from a modern musical, preferably, and a monologue under 1 minute. There will be both an accompanist and a Bluetooth speaker for the auditioners to use. You may be asked to do a cold read after your audition for a role in the show. Show Dates: July 31, August 1 & 2.
