Casting Kids for "Game of Tiaras" (one-act version)
Looking to cast kids in grades 8- 12 for "Game of Tiaras" (one-act version). Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: If needed, callbacks are on Wednesday, April 9. Days/times: Monday through Thursday, 3 pm - 5 pm, starting April 14. In addition to rehearsals, we will also have stage-combat training, and I am hoping to have time for workshops on improvisation, stage makeup techniques, and auditioning skills, as well. Open to suggestions for other workshop topics No rehearsals on the following days: April 21 - 24, May 26, and June 2. There is a participation fee, payable on Day 1 of rehearsals. Not the brightest light on the tree. Actor needs to be relatively lightweight (literally).
His loyal, long-suffering advisor. Actor needs to be physically strong and be able to imitate a drum kit (not at the same time). Might need to be able to do a French accent, but it doesn’t have to be believable.
The nice sister. Too honest for her own good.
The not-so-nice sister.
Belle’s army. Stereotypically French. Ideally they’ll have accents.
Cinderella’s army. Technically they’re English, and should also have accents. Guard 3 is nerdy, nervous, and funny. Guard 2 is Guard 3’s “straight man.”
Ellie’s army. May also play French soldiers.
You think she’s a main character, but she gets her head chopped off right away.
Physical comedian. Read the script to find out what the BPG does.

Cinderella’s prince. English. Has an evil villain monologue and a death scene. Might be a bro.
Belle’s prince. Um . . . French. Ideally with the accent. May also play Snow White.

Talking Candle Man Yes, that talking candle man. May also play an Animated Snowman.
Yes . . . you get the idea. May also play Smeagol.
One of Snow White’s seven. Takes revenge for her death. May also play Talking Candle Man +/- Animated Snowman.
Depending on how many actors audition, most actors may play multiple roles.
