"Dystopia! The Hungry Maze Game of Divergent Death" is seeking teens! Find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Trapped against their will in a dystopian future, a group of teens must battle against emotionally sensitive guards, limited budgets, and the trigger-happy Gamemaster to be proclaimed the winner. When the odds are this absurdly bleak, it seems certain that only the main character will make it out alive -- but first the contestants must decide who the main character is. A bloodthirsty send-up of reality TV and young adult fiction. Additional info: What to prepare: - A 30-45 second comedic monologue. You can bring this on paper for backup, but the directors highly suggest memorizing it prior to audtions. - a 4x6 head shot (or other similar picture) If one is not provided a production staff member will take one at auditions. - Pen or pencil - A water bottle Casting will be sent out prior to the first rehearsal. Cast will recieve their scripts at the first rehearsal. Rehearsal and Show Dates: Please note that this show only has 5 total weeks of rehearsals. Due to this short schedule, the directors are very insistent that cast members only be absent from a maximum 3 rehearsals.
