"Cats" Show Needs Boys and Girls
Kids ages 7 and up are welcome to audition for the "Cats" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: "CATS" is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purrfect felines including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life. Additional info: NOTE THAT KIDS AGES 7-15 YEARS OLD WILL AUDIITON ON APRIL 10 AND AGES 16 AND UP ON APRIL 12. All skill levels are welcome. Please prepare a 30-45-second vocal selection that highlights your voice and come ready to dance! Please arrive at the beginning of your age group session so you don’t miss any of the dance auditions being taught. Doors open 30 minutes prior to auditions. Show dates: July 11-13.
