"Into the Woods Jr." Auditions for Boys and Girls

Audition for "Into the Woods Jr.". Looking for boys and girls ages 13+. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: ​AUDITIONS: One Day only, 3-4 hour block of time and everyone has to come to the same time together. Room 317 at the PARC FREE MUSIC WORKSHOP (RECOMMENDED) 5:30 pm: Monday, March 31st AUDITIONS: Tuesday, April 1st (auditions 5-9 pm). Videos will be accepted for those who have to miss in-person auditions. Vocal range check, 1 audition song/reading, then callbacks for specific roles. Rehearsal Schedule We will only have 7-8 weeks of rehearsals Everyone will usually be called for the full 3-hour block each rehearsal to make up for the shortened weeks Regular rehearsal times: Wed 5-8/8:30, Fri 5-8/8:30, Sat 11-2 All soloists will have to arrange music rehearsals on days other than Wed/Fri/Sat Group rehearsal begins Wednesday, April 16th CASTING The cast will be limited to 40ish to fit the smaller stage size Ages 11 (by May 1st) -17 (at time of show) Modified tech week: Monday TECH run with both casts, Tuesday opening cast Dress Rehearsal, Wednesday closing cast Dress Rehearsal Shows: Thursday night the 5th, Friday night the 6th, 2 shows on Saturday No sensory show, no school show Remember the following when thinking about your schedules before auditioning: end of year tests end-of-year concerts, performances, events, sports, graduation, etc. family commitments vacations religious events If interested, please apply.
