Seeking Kids for "Fiddler on the Roof" Show
Kids ages 10 and up are welcome to audition for the "Fiddler on the Roof" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: As the play begins, Tevye, a Jewish milkman, tells of the customs in the little Russian town of Anatevka. It is 1905, and life here is as precarious as a fiddler on the roof, yet, through their traditions, the villagers endure. Additional info: Looking for singers, actors, dancers, and backstage staff for this production. Please prepare a Broadway-style song for memory not to exceed 2 minutes. A monologue is optional but recommended, not to exceed 1 minute. A pianist is provided. Please be sure your music is in a folder and the “start and end” is clearly marked. Headshots and a resume are encouraged, but directors can take your photo when you arrive. Please download the audition form, complete and bring it to the auditions. You will need to be available for evenings and some weekend rehearsals beginning May 27. The rehearsal schedule will vary depending on your role. The final week will involve nightly rehearsals for the entire cast. Show dates: June 27 and Saturday, June 28, 2025. If interested, please apply.
