2025 Virginia Renaissance Faire Seeks Teen Talent

Seeking volunteer performers for the Virginia Renaissance Faire. Volunteers must be 16 or older to be on the cast without a guardian present on-site during rehearsals and performances. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Non-paid position. Additional info: At the audition, auditionees will fill out paperwork and talk to directors about potential areas in which they can volunteer. They will also be asked to provide a short monologue and engage in a few improvisation exercises. The content of the monologue is not important and does not need to be in the Renaissance era, but the auditionee can expect to be asked to perform it several different ways with an audience in the round. At the end of the process, if the auditionee is accepted onto the cast, they can discuss costuming expectations for the character they will play. New cast rehearsal, your first rehearsal, will be on Saturday, March 29 from 9:30 to 3:00 with a location to be determined and distributed on the date of the auditions. If interested, please apply.
