Mezzo She should look a couple of years older than baby June. She is Mama Rose’s, browbeaten oldest daughter, and has always played second fiddle to her baby sister.
Presenting Gifted, spoiled, arrogant, a Shirley Temple-like up and coming, vaudeville star. She is Mama Rose’s youngest daughter, her shining star. Strong singer and dancer. Tap or acrobatic skills are a plus, but not required.
Shy and loyal. Pushed aside by Rose in favor of June. When June leaves the act, Rose tries to make Louise a star. She becomes the famous burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee.
The talented sister who is frustrated with her overbearing mother. Dance experience preferred.
