"The Hundred-Year Snooze" Needs Kids
Kids in Grades K-5th are welcome to audition for "The Hundred-Year Snooze: The Story of Sleeping Beauty". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In this smart and funny musical, "The Hundred Year Snooze," a story of Sleeping Beauty, there lives a princess who possesses gifts bestowed by the kingdom's Seven Graces: beauty, wit and charm, grace and elegance, and... good math skills. However, her parents, who are the king and queen of the castle, and a court full of fun characters all fall under an evil spell given by the ignored and forgotten Old Grace. Join us for this unique and fun twist on the classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty. Additional info: Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers or jazz shoes (no Crocs or open-toed shoes) and bring a water bottle/snack. Show Weekend – May 23rd and 24th – number of shows, dates & times over the weekend will be confirmed once the cast is set. Please place these dates on your calendar so there are no conflicts for yourself or for the cast. Note: This cast will NOT be double-cast. Rehearsals weekly: Sundays – 1:30-4:30 pm and Mondays - 5:00 pm-8:00 pm Please be aware that a fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
