"Alice in Wonderland" Show Needs Kids
Seking boys and girls for "Alice in Wonderland" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Follow Alice down the rabbit hole on a magical adventure filled with curious characters and exciting moments! Additional info: There are four monologues that I have provided that you can prepare (Alice, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts). Please prepare one of these monologues to perform at your audition. The monologue does not have to be memorized but should be known well enough that your head is not buried in the page the whole time. This is your time to show your acting skills and how well you can create these characters through your physicality and different voices. This show has a lot of unique and funny characters who have strange personalities. Most of the characters are described as “Mad.” What does that mean to you? How does that change your acting? After you perform your monologue, directors will ask you to read a side for with some other students auditioning. A side is a small section from the script. The sides also do not need to be memorized, though they are also provided if you would like to look them over before the audition. Please fill out the audition form attached in its entirety and bring it to the audition. Review the tentative rehearsal schedule that is provided in this packet and write down all possible conflicts. Bring a headshot, nice photo, or school picture to the audition attached to your audition form. •You will not be getting the photo back, so please plan accordingly. If interested, please apply.
