Singing Audition for "Freaky Friday" Musical

Kids ages 8-18 years old are needed for the "Freaky Friday" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another's struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter. Additional info: Be prepared to sing the first verse of "My Country Tis of Thee" or "Happy Birthday." Besides a cold reading, those auditioning will be asked to follow a few dance combinations. A parent or guardian must accompany any child under the age of 18 to auditions to fill out and sign audition forms. (18-year-olds must still be in high school). Performance Dates: Saturday, 5/31/25, at 7 pm and Sunday, 6/1/2,5 at 2 pm. If interested, please apply.
