"The Book of Will" Teen Audition for the Theater
Teen auditions for the theater production of "The Book of Will". See details below. About the project: The play tells the story of the first authorized printing of all of Shakespeare’s Plays. Sometime after Shakespeare’s death two members of the King’s Men, Henry Condell and John Hemings, determine to compile the First Folio to preserve the words that have shaped their lives. But where are the texts? They search through records and memories and scraps of paper; they search for funding from fellow playwrights and The Dark Lady, and they struggle to find a printer willing to take on the giant task. All this against the colorful background of Jacobean London. Comedy-Drama / PG Additional info: Production Dates: May 8–11, 16-18, & 22*-25, 2025 *Thursday, May 22 is a “Pay What You Will for Will” performance with proceeds going to the actors and any unpaid crew on the production. This audition will consist of cold readings from the script. Headshots and resume recommended but not required. If you are interested please apply.
