Seeking Dancers for 2025-2026 Competitive Dance Team Season

Seeking dancers ages 6-18 for our 2025-2026 competitive dance team season! Our award winning dance teams will compete in the genres of jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, musical theater, ballroom, jazz funk, contemporary and more! Dancers will audition to be placed in specific age/levels/genres that suit them best. The dance season will begin in the summer taking technique classes and participating in the Summer Dance Intensive (July 22-24). Routines will begin during the summer based on dancer/choreographer's schedule. Dance team members will be required to take Team Technique class and rehearsal classes during the fall session at The Movement Studio along with ballet, acro, and/or hip hop (depending on placement from audition). Movement Dance Team will attend at least two dance conventions in the Phoenix area (Titans of Dance September and Nexus October). Will compete in at least three regional dance competitions and two conventions/competitions (by invitation). Will also compete at NATIONALS in late June (by invitation). Please arrive 20 minutes early to fill out the audition form along. Dress ready to dance (hair pulled back and dance attire-ALL BLACK) and bring jazz shoes and/or foot undeez and sneakers. You will be given a number at check-in for the dancer to wear. If you are interested please apply.
