Casting Teen for SPEC AD Commercial
Seeking teens for SPEC AD Commercial - Student Grad School Production. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A young teen (Mel) is into tech/STEM/robotics and yearns for interactive engagement and community with others like her. Her father (an old-school hip-hop breakdancer) sees this in his daughter and prepares her to see the Parkway beyond just a theatre for film screenings. They enter the Parkway (the main screening theatre). Mel finds a VR headset sitting on a seat, puts it on, and is then thrust into a VR room/space. After this VR moment, a few other teens invite her to join them for a screening just for youths. Before joining them, Mel asks her father where he will be, and he diverts his attention to the breakdance/ballroom scene. Split screen: Father's dancing and daughter enjoying a filming with other youths. Then crossfade to the SNFF Parkway Theatre logo. This ad showcases how the Parkway offers community engagement for Baltimoreans through education and activities like VR/tech, dancing, social gatherings with lounge and mixers, and the overall film screening experience. So much is offered at the Parkway that will be showcased in this ad. Rate: This is a student production, so even if directors will compensate it'd be minimal. However, you will receive a credit title. Additional info: SHOOT DAY(S): sometime between MARCH 28-30. Most likely Sat 29th and/or Sun 30th LOCATIONS: PARKWAY THEATRE & AN APT (for a living room scene) When applying, please provide a resume, desired role, and reels/audition tapes (if for the lead character).
