Kids and Teens Audition in a Paid Film "Space Boy"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking boys and girls ages 5+ for a short film called "Space Boy". Please, see the details below. About the project: Sam, a trailer park teen does a favor for her widowed neighbor, Cynthia. A single mom who is going out if town for a highly anticipated interview. Sam Babysits her 9 year old son named Warren, a creative and down to earth kid. When he asks to put on a sci fi tv show, “Adventures aboard the flamingo”, she discovers it’s been taped over with some home movies. Delving into the past, Sam embarks on a voyeuristic journey into her neighbors family lives. They get to feel the emotional connections between father and family, before it’s ripped away from them too soon. All ending on a melancholic note of the future. Rate: Non union. ALL ROLES ARE PAID. Non Speaking. Cynthia is sitting in front of the tree with a VERY YOUNG WARREN with presents all lined up. SOC role, but will ask to perform light improv. $100/day, flat rate, all inclusive.
