Young Girls Audition in "Drip Drop" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of two girls ages 9-16 for production of "Drip Drop". More details are below. About the project: Nine-year-old Amy navigates life in a home overshadowed by her mother’s disability induced alcoholism. She clings to small comforts, masking fear with routine. One night, she finds her mother collapsed in wine and blood, forcing her to choose between seeking help or maintaining their fragile world. Morning comes, and the cycle quietly begins again. Korean-Canadian. A quiet and observant 9-year-old child, Amy is mature beyond her years, forced to navigate life in a household shaped by neglect and addiction. She craves stability, clinging to small comforts—her stuffed frog, bedtime routines, and the illusion of normalcy. Despite her mother’s instability, Amy remains fiercely loyal, silently enduring her home life while struggling with the weight of responsibilities no child should bear.
Korean-Canadian. Amy’s older sister, Michelle has already learned to escape—physically and emotionally. She spends as little time at home as possible, seeking refuge with friends. Protective of Amy but hardened by experience, she knows the cycle will continue and chooses survival over confrontation. She carries unspoken guilt for leaving Amy behind but doesn’t know how to save them both.
