Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Yo Vikings" Play

Talents in GRADES 3-12 are invited to audition for "Yo Vikings" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Emma Katz is an adventurous 10-year-old living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, whose vivid imagination often leads her on playful escapades that set her apart from her more traditional friends and family. When her teacher gives her the task of presenting on Erik the Red for World Discovery Day, Emma taps into her inner Viking, embarking on a genuine quest to make a positive impact on her community. Additional info: Everyone will be expected to perform one of the monologues attached and to sing a 30-45-second cut of a song that demonstrates vocal ability, stage presence, and expression. Those called back for the main character, Emma, will be asked to sing a cut of "Emma the Red" Possible callbacks from 12:00-1:00 Pm. REHEARSAL DATES AND TIMES- Saturdays & Sundays 1:00 Pm-5:00 Pm, with occasional Friday evenings for part of the cast, beginning April 5th.
