Girl and Boy Singers Needed for Gig "The Little Mermaid"
Seeking boy and girl singers for "The Little Mermaid" gig. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Children and teens ages 7 to 14 will audition at 6 PM. Please note that there are limited roles for children 10 and under. Everyone in this audition group will be taught a song and should dress comfortably for participation in drama/dance activities. Adult and teen auditions will be held beginning at 7:30 PM. Please be prepared to sing 16 bars from a song of your choice, not necessarily from the show. Bring your music on a device that can be connected to a speaker via Bluetooth. (The directors have the speaker.) Please dress comfortably for movement. Scene readings will take place at callbacks at a later date. Bring your completed Mermaid audition form with you to auditions. Please see the attachment. Bring a recent photo. This does NOT have to be a theatrical headshot. A rehearsal schedule will be built based on the conflict calendars of those cast. Show dates are July 11-27 with 7:30 PM shows on Thursdays and Fridays and 3:00 PM shows on Saturdays and Sundays. If you are interested please apply.

Ruler of the sea and Ariel’s protective father. He is authoritative yet caring, struggling with his daughter’s desires. Vocal Range: Ab2 to F4.
The cunning sea witch and sister to King Triton. She is manipulative, ambitious and revels in chaos. Vocal Range: Eb3 to C5.
A meticulous and anxious crab who serves as King Triton’s advisor and court composer. He is loyal and often finds himself in humorous predicaments. Vocal Range: Bb2 to C5.
Ariel’s sincere and sensitive best friend. He is loyal, brave, and often apprehensive about Ariel’s adventures. Vocal Range: A2 to G4.
A disheveled seagull and self-proclaimed expert on human artifacts. He is loudmouthed, optimistic and a bit ignorant. Vocal Range: C3 to G4.
Prince Eric’s prim and proper British guardian. He is droll, stuffy, and constantly urging Eric towards his royal duties. Vocal Range: C3 to C4.
Ursula’s sly and slippery eel henchmen. They are sinister, sneaky, and serve as extensions of Ursula’s will. Vocal Range: E3 to C5 (Flotsam), B2 to A4 (Jetsam).
