Audition for "Matilda The Musical". Looking for kids and teens. Please see the details below. ONLY MD, DC, AND LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please come prepared to: Perform 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway-style song that shows your range, stage presence, and acting ability. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. (Acapella auditions will not be considered.) Learn and then perform a short dance routine. Wear clothes you can move in. Sneakers or dance shoes (jazz, character, etc.) are a must. Provide a complete list of all possible schedule conflicts through June 7th. Production Information Rehearsals will be held 3 times per week, mostly Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, beginning March 24. A tentative schedule of rehearsals will be provided at auditions. Performance Schedule: June 13, 2025 through June 28, 2025 Matinees - Saturday, June 14, 21, & 28 at 2 pm Sunday, June 15 & 22 at 2 pm Evenings - Friday, June 13, 20, & 27 at 8 pm Saturday, June 21 & 28 at 8 pm If interested, please apply.
