Auditions for 'The Cosmic Camper' Junior Thesis Film
Huntington University is holding auditions to cast a 2025 Junior Thesis Film. Our Film Production students will be with you in our Studio A and B spaces SYNOPSIS: In 2006, a single father and his young son battle the harsh realities of poverty in a rundown camper trailer, finding strength in the hope of a better tomorrow WHERE: 8385 W Mariners Way Peoria, AZ 85382 WHEN: Thursday February 13th 5pm-8:30pm Please prepare a one minute monologue of your choosing: comedic or dramatic that showcases your range. Sides of the short films will be provided on site for you to review and perform. Be prepared to improvise. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have it NOTE: These auditions will be recorded for review. Shoot Dates: March 14th, 15th, 16th

Curious, Innocent, Vulnerable, Spirited, Playful. Though he doesn’t fully understand the situation he and his father are currently in, he understands that things could be better for both of them. Regardless, Kiran immerses himself in his vivid imagination, dreaming of becoming an astronaut one day, escaping the harsh realities of real life into a better one among the stars. Even though it gets harder with the struggles of their situation becoming more clearer everyday.
