Young Talent Audition in "With You" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Searching for actors ages 12-14 for production of "With You". Please, see the details below. About the project: Alphonso, a small, is getting bullied at school by Kenny and must fight him at the end of the week. His father, Derek, is on thin ice with the family for being absent and tries to make amends by connecting with Alphonso. Alphonso initially resists, but convinces Derek to train him to fight. Alphonso learns that his grandfather was a boxer and channels his inner strength into training. Alphonso eventually faces off with Kenny but with new strength knowing his father is with him. Rate: Non-Union. Actors playing Young Alphonso will be compensated with an honorarium of $30 per day. Actors playing Kenny and Kenny’s Friend will be compensated with an honorarium of $20 per day. A 12 dollar bonus for lunch and Craftys will be provided on set. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION Vancouver, BC. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) February 28th and March 1st. Alphonso Gray is a determined 9-year-old boy with a slim build and a kind face. Frequently bullied, he finds strength in his father's support. He is learning to stand up for himself and overcome adversity, revealing his resilience and courage.
Kenny Thompson is a 13-year-old bully with an athletic build and angry demeanor. He is characterized by his aggressive behavior and intimidation tactics, targeting Alphonso. His casual clothing style reflects his rebellious nature.
Defined as Kenny’s shadow, he does what Kenny says and is his backup when needed. He has a medium build, street wear clothes and comes across as simple-minded.
