Teen Acting Audition in "She's Never Alone" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of teens and extras ages 16+ for production of "She's Never Alone". More details are below. About the project: The film follows Sunny, a young woman struggling with declining mental health. She meets Adeline, a girl one year younger than her with a bright promised future. At first, Adelines presence silences the voices and visions Sunny has. But as the two spend more time together, Sunny’s relationship with Adeline is forced away by jealousy. Sunny grows further apart from Hope and can eventually no longer tell what is real or fake. Rate: This is not a paid position/gig, but simply a passion project. Additional information: This short film will be based in the spruce grove/stony plain area. If you are auditioning, you MUST be able to get a ride out if you live outside of town. While the locations and dates are TBD, directors plan to film around spring break in March, or early July when school is out. Anybody auditioning must be willing to film during spring break or early July. Scheduling may vary based on actor schedules closer to filming. Please, see the attachment. The main character, roughly 18 years of age. She is the ‘protagonist’. Quickly angered. Manipulative. Compulsive liar. Bad influence. Favorite colors; darker colors– dark green, dark grey, silver, purple, more dull colors. Characters similar in energy: Nina Sayers, Veronica Sawyer, Jennifer Check, the evil queen from snow white.
The secondary character is roughly 17. a foil of Sunny. The ‘antagonist’. Sweet and soft. Pisces/aries energy. Not often aware of red flags. Decent sense of humor. Empathetic. unassuming. Favorite colors; pinks, blues, lavender, pastel colors.
Adelines other friend, similar in character to Adeline. 17 years old. Mean girl, but she likes hanging out with hope. Protective. Dark humor. Not afraid to speak up. Favorite colors; orange, pink and green, sorbet colors.
Adelines boyfriend. Golden retriever. Chad energy but nicer. Favorite colors; Earthy tones, browns, etc. Characters similar in energy; Marshall Eriksen, Ron Weaseley, Peter Parker. An actor who almost provides a sigh of relief. The viewer should be able to feel comfort when they see this character. Note: Oliver is a smaller character than the others. MUST be comfortable playing a character in a relationship (hand holding, possible kiss, etc.
MUST be able to make the trip to filming locations (locations tbd) for the days they are needed. If you are not cast but have auditioned for the short film and meet the criteria, you will automatically be considered as an extra, however this does not mean you will be cast as extra.
