Child Audition for Short Passion Project
Looking to cast a child actor a for a short passion project. Although I am filming February 28 - March 2nd the actor will only be needed for one day of the weekend, which can be chosen around their schedule. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Synopsis: A haunting short film exploring themes of childhood trauma, familial bonds, and the pursuit of truth. When two estranged brothers reunite at their childhood home, the act of opening a forbidden closet unravels a web of repressed memories, forcing them to confront their shared pain and long-buried secrets. Rate: The director is able to pay 15 an hour and will provide meals and pay back gas or bus traveling expenses. Additional Info: Not a lot of experience needed. Calvin is a curious and protective older brother who loves to play but also feels the pressure of his home life. He wants to explore and understand things he's told to ignore, especially a mysterious closet in the house. He sometimes feels left out or overlooked. Calvin appears in a few key flashback scenes. He will play hide and seek, eat dinner with his family, and have quiet but important moments that show his relationship with his brother and the tension in their home.
