About the project: Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is a splashy, enchanting musical that brings Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved tale and the animated classic to life on stage. Journey under the sea with Ariel, a spirited young mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world above. With the help of her loyal friends Flounder and Sebastian—and despite the scheming of the sea witch Ursula—Ariel makes a daring deal to follow her heart. Featuring iconic songs like Part of Your World, Under the Sea, and Poor Unfortunate Souls, this magical adventure is perfect for audiences of all ages, celebrating the power of love, sacrifice, and finding your own voice. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Productions will be held on Friday, June 27 & Sunday June 29 Each audition time block will include a singing, acting, and dancing portion. Students are highly encouraged to participate in all three components of the audition: - Singing: Please prepare one vocal selection from the show - Acting: Please be prepared to read from a script. - Dance: Please be prepared to learn a light movement routine. Vocal Selections: Please review options and prepare one for auditions. You will receive a link to the music and backing tracks upon singing up for your audition.
