About the project: Based on Tim Burton’s classic comedy film, Beetlejuice was an audience favorite during its Broadway run and nominated for eight Tony awards, including Best Musical. Lydia Deetz is not your typical teenager. She is enchanted by all things haunted and supernatural. So when her father moves her into a brand new home, Lydia is delighted to discover her new house is haunted by a quirky, couple of ghosts named the Maitlands, and one notorious demon named… Beetlejuice! Tim Burton’s masterpiece is brought “back from the dead” to hilarious results. This zany, madcap musical is “frightfully” hilarious and fun for the whole family, guaranteed to make you want to dance till “daylight come”. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Callbacks: by invitation only WHAT TO PREPARE: The young performers will be asked to sing 16 bars of a select song from Beetlejuice Jr and will participate in a dance audition. Both the music and dance will be taught to the performers at auditions. Please be dressed to move comfortable clothes and dance shoes or tennis shoes. PERFORMANCE DATES: The show will run June 19-22, 2025 with multiple shows on each day. REHEARSALS: All rehearsals and shows will generally be Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00-7:30 PM, and Saturday 10 AM - Noon through the end of May. June rehearsals will be weeknights from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Rehearsals will increase in frequency in the last three weeks before the show opens. If you are interested please apply.

Our ghost host with the most! This titular character is zany, spooky, and absolutely hilarious. Though Beetlejuice exists in a morally gray area, he’s more of a trickster than a malevolent threat. Devoted husband of Barbara, but can’t catch a break. While life’s stresses were getting to him – renovation of the house, financial difficulties, and the decision about having a child – he certainly wasn’t ready for the zany-crazy after-life hijinx of haunting a mansion! Barbara is more adventurous than Adam. She is very kind but also strong-willed and a quick thinker. Barbara immediately bonds with Lydia. Maternal and warm. Vocal range top: D5 Vocal range bottom: A3
Hopelessly (sometimes maniacally) optimistic. Delia believes fully in her guru, Otho, and considers herself a life coach, though underneath her façade she’s quite fragile and desperately wants to fit in with the Deetzes.
